For this occasion Gijs will bring a solo guitar programme for the very first time. He will explore the balance between improvisation and original compositions. The focus will be on the lyrical aspect of guitar, combined with the tension of complete, almost meditative, silences with bursts of rich harmonies and daring rhythms. The results of these explorations were featured on Gijs’ recent solo album ”Marking Time”, released on Dox Records.
