Swiss trio Vein aims to achieve the greatest possible balance with their music, which is evident in the compositions and arrangements of the three band members who all come from a classical background. Since the foundation of Vein, ten years ago, they have regularly collaborated with renowned American musicians including Dave Liebman and Glenn Ferris. Now they will join forces again with alto saxophonist Greg Osby, who continuously strives for originality while retaining his distinct, glowing tone. Since his arrival in New York in 1983 he was part of the revolutionary M-Base movement and he has released over a dozen albums on the legendary label Blue Note.
