The French trumpet player Erik Truffaz always looks ahead. He is known for searching the musical boundaries and to incorporate different styles into his music. He gained a following with his album ‘Bending New Corners’, which has an eclectic and organic mix between jazz, hiphop and drum ’n bass.

In recent years Erik worked with Bugge Wesseltoft, Talvin Singh, Ed Harcourt, Sophie Hunger and the band (from Rotterdam) The Mirror Conspiracy. This time around he comes to Rotterdam with his own quartet to present his tenth album ‘El Tiempo de la Revolución’.

Special guest will be the Swiss singer-songwriter Anna Aaron.
